This course aims at making participants aware of the latest ELT trends in this process of globalization, and the way how to put all this brand new issues into language teaching practice in order to cater for the improvement of the teachers’ current teaching situations.

To make participants aware of the latest ELT developments, such as the global dimension in the school curriculum, critical literacy, intercultural learning, OSDE methodology, etc.    To apply these new ELT trends into the teaching/ learning practice in the classroom after reading intensively, analysing, comparing, exchanging ideas and reflecting on these new trends.
